Should KL Rahul be DROPPED? Experts, fans call for Shubman Gill to play 3rd Test
India may have won the first two tests in the border gavaskar trophy and have actually retained the trophy up until this point and are in a very good position when it comes to qualifying the world test championship final. However, there has been more focus on one aspect of India’s performances than anything else and that has been the form of vice captain.
There has been a lot of speculation as to whether or not he deserves the kind of extended run he’s gotten with many fans and experts now calling for him to be dropped from the side, at least temporarily. But what does his reason form suggest and what is it that people exactly have been saying about him.
Well, it’s time to take a look at all of that and move in this special story when India announced their squad for the third and for tests against Australia, there were no changes to the personnel, but there was one small but significant omission was not named the team’s vice captain.
In fact, the team has no designated by his captain for the next two guests. Many felt that spelled the end of Rahul to run in the test team, however. It does appear as if the management still has faith in. India’s skipper road Sherman made it clear that Rahul would continue to be backed due to his high potential and India’s head coach Raoul Javid also extended his support to the maximum.
But for how long can he continue to be backed. His last 15 test match innings make for very poor, reading his overall record in test cricket doesn’t exactly paint him as a world beater either and to make things worse. He’s got an informed Sherman Gill breathing down his neck and waiting for his chance.
I’m not gonna judge your journey. It is your fantasy. The matter has experts and fans baffled too. Commentator Harsha bogley wants to see Gill get an opportunity Vancouver Taylor wants Rahul to play domestic cricket before internationals and Doda Ganesh believes the time for to be consistent.
Fans, however, have been less kind Rahul with many a social media user quick to poke fun at his extended poor runner formula. But regardless of one’s views on Rahul’s ability, one thing is for certain the clock is sticking on his time to come good in national colors.
